The Tavern League of MN provides benefits, both tangible and intangible, that exceed our members annual cost of membership.

Over the past six years the Tavern League of MN has been saving Minnesota taverns and restaurants literally thousands of dollars each year. We fought smoking bans at the local, county, and state levels. We fight wine-in-grocery stores. We fight against ignition interlocks. We are the reason that Minnesota was the last state to enact its laws on .08 blood alcohol content.


The Tavern League of Minnesota (TLoM), originally known as the Wine, Beer & Spirits Federation of MN, was formed in September of 2000 by a group of hospitality veterans who were concerned about fighting threatening legislative issues such as Wine in Grocery Stores, Direct Shipment, .08 BAC, Smoking Bans at the local and state level, and other issues detrimental to our industry. The feeling was and is that if we organize more efficiently as an industry with a combined effort we can make our voices heard at all levels of government.
